Laura is a Salvadoran biologist with a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where she conducted research on ecological restoration through plant–microorganism interactions, with a particular focus on mycorrhizal associations. She also holds a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Her interdisciplinary background integrates knowledge in ecology, microbiology, and biotechnology applied to ecosystem conservation and restoration.
